With a dream to open a light, airy and modern gaming store, owners of Chaos Cards contacted Rapeed Design to get some help to bring their vision to life. After having online success the next logical step in the Chaos Cards story was to secure the right premises in a good location and then Rapeed Design came along and did the rest.

Points of note

Move aside "dark dungeons" of yester years, a new wave of gamers are on the horizon and are working to bring board games to the world of now. Overcoming the stereotype of the gaming store has been a true motivator for Chaos Cards owners.

Simon, from the successful gaming centre, said, “The dream has always been to have a physical space. A friendly local gaming store, that’s what they call it. It’s been about 10 years in the making.“

The empty shell was in need of a full facelift to bring the concept of table top gaming to a wider audience and allow people of all walks of life and not just enthusiasts to learn about what’s on offer.

Speaking of Chaos Cards, Simon says, the reaction for the new store has been really positive and even passersby are visiting. With the creation of a games room, open gaming space, tournaments and a board games library the opportunities are endless.

He adds, "We now have space to hire and try games that you would never had played before.”

Speaking of the final refit, Simon says, “Rapeed did a fantastic job for us. They did all the heavy lifting and we just said thank you very much that’s exactly what we want.”

With such phenomenal success of the store Chaos Cards has a buzzing events calendar of weekly events that are packed out. Simon adds, “we aim to provide you with the complete table top experience!”
