The Post Office on Wood Street, now located just across the road from Wood Street station, has had an upgrade since moving into their new place. The post office is owned by a family who has run the business for 12 years, and they are very excited about their new venue and new adventure.
At the start of the project, the post office’s postmaster, Aman, sat down with one of our experts to talk about Wood Street post office’s journey and what they wanted from the project.
The client's main focus was to be able to provide a hassle free post office service with an optimised retail area. The retail display is now larger and contains both stationary and cards. The new space is designed to hold stock so that the client doesn’t have to buy new products every week; the new space fits more products without making it cluttered.
The project took 13 weeks to finish, and the family is very happy with the outcome. Postmaster Aman says, “Rapeed has been fantastic from the start. From the very initial conversation. I was confident that they would do a good job, and they’ve done, not a good job, they’ve done an absolutely amazing job. So I definitely recommend them.”
According to the Post Office Ltd, the new post office on Wood Street is amongst the best fitted post offices in London.
